Over to the HOPPER House...
We're fortunate to have a couple of open figure drawing classes around here so tonight it's off to the Hopper House link in Nyack, NY. It's a discipline I always felt helped my style, I strongly recommend this activity to aspiring comic book artists. They have a great spread of goodies and coffee at the Hopper house too so you can munch out and gab with the other artists and stuff. So if you're near Nyack and feel like getting out, come on down tonight for some drawing, fellowship and fun!

Beautiful stuff Steve. I agree that taking figure drawing classes helps alot. One can learn so much more by having a live model in front of them rather than studying a photograph. I always loved figure drawing classes in college. Thanks for sharing. If you're interested, check out my art blog at www.1777publishing.blogspot.com Take care, Sean.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great, Steve. The top one reminds me of Sean F.'s painting of Sea Goin' Lil that you did.
